Why do we source from Palawan Island, the Philippines?
Palawan Island is regarded as the last major region in the Philippines that is relatively untouched. The people of Palawan have passed several laws of the past two decades to protect the island’s unique environment and as a result it has a reputation as the most environmentally conscious and progressive region of the Philippines. Recently Palawan’s Underground River won a place as one of the ‘New 7 Wonders of the World’.
